The Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system was created by the World Customs Organization (WCO) in order to harmonize the smooth flow of international trade while accepting world trade security measures since 9.11. AEO means a company that has been certified by the Korea Customs Service for reliability and stability among the export chains, customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouses, cargo handling companies, and so on.
